Conference Overview

Commemorating Henry James starts at 9am on 9 June 2016 and ends after the conference banquet (approximately 9pm) on 11 June 2016. Download directions to Brandeis University here. Below are registration fees, conference banquet information, and lodging options.
Preliminary Conference Program

Conference Registration
The conference registration fee includes transportation to the exhibit and reception at the Houghton Library and, later that evening, to the conference banquet at the Sheraton Commander, as well as return transportation to Brandeis. Morning and afternoon coffee breaks are included. In addition, for non-members the registration includes Society membership and a subscription to the Henry James Review.

Conference Banquet
The conference banquet will be held at the Sheraton Commander Hotel in Cambridge. Wine and beer are included. During registration, choose one of the following three entree options:

New York Sirloin
  • Balsamic roasted cippolini, red wine reduction, roasted red potatoes, and asparagus
Mushroom Ravioli
  • Wild mushroom ravioli, basil creme, julienne shiitake, shaved Parmesan
Sweet Chili Glazed Salmon
  • Cilantro, toasted sesame, jasmine rice, bok choy, baby carrots

In addition to an entree, dinner includes:

Spinach salad: baby spinach, dried figs, crumpled Vermont chevre, toasted pecans, and honey balsamic dressing
Dessert: chocolate duo mousse
Drinks: Starbucks coffee, Tazo teas, wine, and beer

Conference Lodging
There are two lodging options for conference attendees.

Dormitory rooms are available on the Brandeis University campus. You may reserve and pay for your room when you register for the conference. Rooms are $52 per single room, per night, and are limited to the first 50 reservations. All rooms are suite-style, with 4 to 6 single rooms per suite. All rooms in a suite share a bathroom.
